Every day, we publish a photo to show Red Cross at work across the country or around the world. Do you have a photo to share? Let us know!
Conrad Sauvé, Secretary General of the Canadian Red Cross, is currently in Haiti, as this week marks two years since a devastating earthquake hit the small Caribbean country. In this photo, Conrad is posing with two children in front of their brightly painted new shelter – one of more than 5,700 hurricane and earthquake resistant homes the Canadian Red Cross has constructed since 2010, providing safe shelter to more than 28,500 Haitians.
