The heat is on, so we’re listening to some cool tunes

Summer -along with high humid temps - has finally made its way to Southern Ontario. The City of Toronto declared its first heat alert of the season today and many communities in the province are expected to have humidex values of 40C. That will definitely leave us feeling hot, hot, hot!

Last year, I blogged about “warm weather tunes” to listen to while trying to beat the heat. After it was posted, I received a lot of comments about more songs that I could’ve added to the list. Here we go!

Hot Fun in the Summertime by Sly and the Family Stone

Summer in the City by Lovin’ Spoonful

Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves

Gonna Make You Sweat by C & C Music Factory

Burning Up by Madonna
