Volunteer spotlight: Corrie's Top Five

*This week is National Volunteer Week, a time for the Canadian Red Cross to recognize our dedicated volunteers who donate their time and talents from coast to coast . Over the course of the week we will use this blog to share stories about our volunteers and the amazing work they do --a small sample of the outstanding individuals across the country.

Corrie Butler is a university student, Calgary resident, coffee lover, and enthusiastic Canadian Red Cross volunteer. Take a look at the video below to hear Corrie's top five reasons for volunteering with the RedCross in the public affairs department. In addition to loving the media spotlight, Corrie says the supportive, trusting staff members she works with give her a reason to keep coming back—along with the coffee selection.

Thanks for sharing Corrie!
