Congratulations to Diane Girard! As of Sunday, June 6, Diane will step into her new role as President of Red Cross Council of Ontario.
For more than 40 years
, Diane, of Windsor, has given dedicated and committed service to the Red Cross as chair of many committees and through her roles in senior governance. She is a former council president in Southwestern Ontario, and vice president of the Ontario council.
Diane has also been active in Red Cross water safety and first aid over the years serving as a master instructor trainer in both areas.
While we welcome Diane in her new role, we also extend our appreciation and thanks to the former president, Peter Zulaf.
