At the Canadian Red Cross, Ontario Zone, we’ve been toying with the idea for some time now to launch a blog. In our early discussions about it, one of the first questions we asked ourselves was who will our audience be?
The answer was not difficult. With thousands of Red Cross volunteers across Ontario and the rest of the country, we realized we already have a captive audience.
With this week being National Volunteer Week, we thought it the perfect opportunity to launch this blog, connect with our volunteers and share stories.
We’ll keep blogging long after Volunteer Week is over, and we hope you’ll keep checking our postings. The blog will be a place for us to share Red Cross stories and experiences, listen to your ideas and comments and recognize the important work that is being done.
And, while we’re at it, we hope to have some fun.
