Celebrating World Jazz for Haiti CD

We’re excited to tell you that one of the artists from the World Jazz for Haiti CD, David Clayton-Thomas, will be performing live on Canada AM on Tuesday at 8:50 a.m.

Following the devastating January 12 earthquake in Haiti, the jazz community in Toronto (including Clayton-Thomas) was inspired to help make a difference through music.

The managing director of Number 9 Audio Group, George Rondina, helped bring together some of Canada’s greatest jazz talents, including Clayton-Thomas, Holly Cole, and John McDermott for this CD. Proceeds of the CD will support the Canadian Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti.

If you don’t yet have World Jazz for Haiti, it can now be purchased online on CD Baby, Amazon and iTunes. You can also listen to some of the tracks on Facebook.
