HELP (Health Equipment Loan Program)
The Canadian Red Cross provides loans of standard healthcare and mobility equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, raised toilet seats, canes, tub transfer benches, shower grab bars, and commodes. The equipment must be requisitioned from a Nova Scotia based health professional.
Loans are offered on a short-term, no cost basis, however donations to this program are welcome to further enhance the program.
