Medical Equipment Loan Service (MELS)
This community-based, volunteer-run program provides short-term loans of basic medical equipment, by donation, to those recovering from surgery or injury, or living with mobility limitations. Last year, 417 volunteers served 20,738 clients, loaning over 48,000 pieces of medical equipment.
Available equipment includes mobility aids, bath aids, toileting aids, walking aids, and aids to daily living. Equipment list
