Canadian Red Cross face-to-face campaign comes to Alberta

Since 2003 the Canadian Red Cross has been conducting face to face campaigns across the country wearing the standard Red Cross red and white vest. The face-to-face program has a new look so people can easily distinguish the team.

The new outfits will still have the Canadian Red Cross logo but the logo will now be on a grey vest, a red golf shirt or a black winter coat.

The new attire will now allow the red vests to be solely used by our disaster management team so they are easily identifiable to provide support services following any scale of disaster

The face-to-face approach allows us to have a conversation about the work of the Canadian Red Cross and attract new monthly donors. Having committed monthly donors is one of the ways that ensures the Red Cross is able to continue meeting the needs of Canadians through issues such as disaster management, injury prevention, and violence and abuse prevention.

Red Cross representatives will be on the streets in Calgary, High River, Okotoks, and Red Deer from November 5^th - November 11^th talking to the public and visiting neighbourhoods to reach potential donors. Those who are willing to help will be given the opportunity to sign up to become monthly donors.
