At the community level, the Canadian Red Cross continues to support numerous projects including food for schools, toys and craft supplies for daycare centers, funding for playground construction, and sports equipment for youth groups. In addition to this assistance, the Canadian Red Cross is also working with key community and partner groups, including the Town of Slave Lake and surrounding municipal districts, to ensure residents build their capacity and resilience as they navigate the road to recovery.
