Administrative Support

Program/Department: Fund Development
Location: Winnipeg

Purpose:

  • Assist the Fund Development Team in organizing donor records, campaigns and providing stewardship.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Disseminate data into stewardship categories.
  • Confidently make phone calls to thank donors for their gifts.
  • Compose letters and prepare for mail.
  • Track campaign results.
  • File donor information and cash reports.

Time Commitment:

  • Four hours per week or two days per month.
  • Commit to a minimum of one year.

Qualifications:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Experience with Excel and Word including merging documents.
  • Can work independently.
  • Experience with the Raiser’s Edge program would be an asset.

Requirements:

  • Understand and support the Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement.
  • Completion of successful Criminal Records and Child Abuse Registry Checks.
  • Hold a valid driver’s licence if position requires.

Training & Orientation:

  • Intro to Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement.
  • Fund Development training as required.
