What’s Students CAN?

Students Clubs Action Network (Students CAN) is a network of student clubs, Red Cross volunteers, and staff who are available to help your club build awareness and take action on pressing humanitarian issues. Some resources we offer include:

Event planning support: brainstorming event ideas, issue-specific information/training (with both local and global perspectives), trouble-shooting, connecting you with Red Cross programs of interest

Tips and tricks on running a club
Information about the Red Cross Movement
Event planning tools and
Information on topics including Refugees, HIV/AIDS, Protecting Children, Humanitarian Law, Disasters, Malaria, and Trauma Prevention & Response.

Action Nights

Action nights will be scheduled throughout the year. Each night is an action packed evening for clubs to engage in an awesome opportunity to learn more about the Red Cross Movement, access support in planning your next (or first!) event, and meet students from other schools who are also taking action on humanitarian issues! Keep an eye out for when the next exciting action night will be!

Signing your club up with the Students Clubs Action Network is super easy! All you have to do is fill out this downloadable registration form (Word, 1.1MB)!

Once we receive your form, we’ll hook you up with one of our amazing volunteers who will be in touch to make sure your club gets its Action Kit and to help get you on your way to making an impact on humanitarian issues that are important to you!
