Ana Michelle Allain Field Diaries

Ana Johnson

Ana Michelle is a recent graduate from the Université de Montréal with an undergraduate degree in Anthropology. She is currently serving as an intern with the Canadian Red Cross REDES project in Copan Ruinas, Honduras where she is exploring the involvement of men in maternal health issues. She is also examining the issues surrounding home births and maternal health. REDES, which means “network” is a community health program that targets mothers and children in rural Honduras.
