Senior Services Volunteers

Various locations in New Brunswick

What if you were confined to your home with little connection to the outside world? Wouldn’t you want to see a friendly face or hear a friendly voice once in a while? What would it mean to you to have someone take you to an appointment instead of having to call a taxi?

The Canadian Red Cross (CRC) is a non-profit, humanitarian organization dedicated to helping Canadians, as well as the most vulnerable throughout the world.

We are currently seeking volunteers to interact with seniors via our Friendly Visiting, Telephone Reassurance and Transportation Programs. These programs provided much needed social interaction, support and stimulation to seniors who are confined to their homes.

Transportation* - Transport clients , using your personal vehicle, to local appointments on an as needed basis.
