Benefits to Volunteer |
Volunteers will receive comprehensive training on global issues, facilitation, leadership, event management, teamwork and the International Movement of the Red Cross and Red Crescent. Part of the training requirements is to participate in our two day facilitation training course- this course offers fantastic training for its value and upon copmletion participants recieve a certificate of completion. In addition to a greater understanding of global issues, you will gain valuable skills in project management, event planning, public speaking and facilitation. This is a great way to network with people in the not-for-profit field and meet amazing people with similar interests as you. But ultimately, this position will challenge you to “be the change you want to see in the world”, as Mahatma Gandhi put it, and make a difference on critical global issues. |
