Congratulations to Our 2012 Recipients!

Dr. Martha Jodrey, philanthropic champion for students with learning disabilities, has been selected as the 2012 Humanitarian Award recipient from the Canadian Red Cross in Nova Scotia.

The Red Cross also named Haligonian Samantha Miller as its 2012 Young Humanitarian for the province for her charitable giving.

The recipients will be honoured on  Wednesday October 24 at the Canadian Red Cross Humanitarian Award Dinner, held at the Cunard Centre (961 Marginal Road, Halifax).

Proceeds from the fundraising dinner support Canadian Red Cross disaster services and other programs throughout Nova Scotia.
