Congratulations to Our 2012 Recipients!

Vince Withers a well-known, dedicated community leader and St. John's native, has been selected as the recipient of the 2012 Humanitarian Award from the Canadian Red Cross, Newfoundland and Labrador. The organization also named Memorial University alumna and volunteer Jillian Peddle as its 2012 Young Humanitarian for the province.

They will be honoured on Thursday, November 22, 2012, at the Humanitarian Awards gala dinner held at the Delta Conference Centre in St. John's.

Proceeds from the fundraising dinner support Canadian Red Cross disaster services and other programs throughout the province.
