Congratulations to Our 2012 Recipients!
Gerry Pond of Rothesay, will receive the Canadian Red Cross 2012 Humanitarian award for New Brunswick for his outstanding contribution to reduce poverty in the region. The Red Cross also announced that Lauren Chartrand of Scotch Lake, recognized for her efforts to combat bullying, will receive the Canadian Red Cross Young Humanitarian award.

The recipients will be honoured on October 23, 2012 at the Canadian Red Cross Humanitarian Award dinner held at the Saint John Trade and Convention Centre.
Proceeds from the fundraising dinner support Red Cross disaster services and other programs throughout New Brunswick.
