Preventing Injury and Drowning
Education and training are the first steps to preventing injury and drowning. For decades, Red Cross programs have given people the skills they need to stay safe. From first aid and CPR, to water safety - odds are, you or someone you know has benefited from a Red Cross program.
Most all injuries and drownings are predictable and preventable. Education and training have been proven to significantly reduce risk, however financial barriers prevent many of Canada’s most vulnerable people from accessing such help.
