Advocate for the fundamental rights of those in need

Tree

Canadian Red Cross Humanitarian Issues Promotion advocates on behalf of vulnerable people in our local community and around the globe.

In southern Alberta, the Humanitarian Issues promotes international humanitarian law and its values as well as connecting individuals separated by armed conflict through its Restoring Family Links program.

Humanitarian Issues Promotion is designed to engage Canadian youth as active global citizens, by training new leaders in the fight against injustice. We believe that the future of humanitarian rights lies in the hands of today’s youth. It is important to allow our youth to express themselves and realise that they can be a force of change for those in need.

Humanitarian Issues Promotion is an innovative program which educates, advocates and re-unites. Humanitarian Issues Promotion invites youth to discover their potential as creative and passionate leaders through interactive workshops, youth-led humanitarian groups and volunteer opportunities.

Check out recent Humanitarian Issues Promotion events and workshops to see the great things you can achieve as a member of Canadian Red Cross Humanitarian Issues Promotion.

One voice can change the face of the world, become a voice of change!
