The Red Cross in Southern Alberta
Who We Serve
The Southern Alberta Region of the Canadian Red Cross serves Albertans south of (but not including) Red Deer. We have offices in Calgary, Brooks, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat and Standoff.
Each year, with your support, the Red Cross in southern Alberta directly improves the lives of more than 254,000 people. Every day, the Red Cross provides essential programs and services in injury prevention, health promotion, humanitarian action and disaster response.
How We Serve
Volunteers are the backbone of the Canadian Red Cross. In southern Alberta, over 500 people contribute their time and talents to improve the lives of vulnerable members of our communities.
In our community, Red Cross counts on the skills, expertise and experience of a volunteer regional council. The Southern Alberta Regional Council works with our Western Canada Council and National Board of Governors. Together, they govern the operations of the country's leading humanitarian organization.
