RespectED Violence & Abuse Prevention
|
RespectED is community-based and volunteer-driven. We educate and certify volunteers, teachers, and community members as Prevention Educators. RespectED Prevention Educators deliver presentations that enable youth participants to define healthy relationships, understand maltreatment and abuse of power, learn that abuse is never a young person’s fault, promote safe environments and locate helping resources. Our award-winning programs are delivered in collaboration with schools, sport organizations, community agencies, and other institutions throughout Manitoba. In addition to youth presentations, tailored educational programs help adults who work with youth understand abuse, harassment and violence issues, and build safer organizations and communities.
