International Women's Day
International Women's Day (March 8) is the global day to commemorate the historic struggle to improve women's lives. The International Movement of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies is highlighting the dangers faced by women displaced by conflict. Many displaced women are confronted by enormous risks in their daily lives in order to provide for the immediate needs of their families. The protection of women is key to providing safe environments for both them and their families.
