Message from the Appeal Chair
On behalf of the Canadian Red Cross I would like to thank the many individuals, organizations, and volunteers who supported Imagine...No Bullies. Their support helped build awareness in our community about the importance of bullying prevention and made this appeal a success.
The goal was to raise $100,000 to expand bully prevention education in southern Saskatchewan. I am extremely pleased that we have exceeded that goal with a total of $147,677 raised. The support shown for this appeal was truly remarkable.
Residents of southern Saskatchewan have embraced Imagine...No Bullies and are sending a message that bullying is not acceptable in our schools, playgrounds and communities. I am honoured to have been a part of this appeal and to have been surrounded by so many dedicated and passionate supporters and volunteers. For that, once again, I say thank you.
