Emergency Medical Responder Instructor

The purpose of the Emergency Medical Responder Instructor Self-study is to train instructors to teach the Emergency Medical Responder course. The self-study provides an upgrade from the First Responder Instructor certification level.
Prerequisites:
- Proof of current Emergency Medical Responder with CPR-HCP or higher
- 19 yrs of age or older
- Proof of current Canadian Red Cross First Responder Instructor Certification or equivalent
Recognition:
Successful candidates are certified as Canadian Red Cross Emergency Medical Responder Instructors for 3 years and receive a wallet card upon completion of the pre-course, course and post-course assignments, successful completion of the Self-Study Guide exam with a minimum mark of 80% and have met additional legislative requirements, if applicable.
