Health Equipment Loan Program (HELP) loans medical equipment on a short term basis to people recovering in their homes from injury, illness or surgery.

Equipment is provided, with a health care professional’s recommendation, for a 1 to 3 month period.

The following equipment is available:

• Wheelchairs
• Walkers
• Rollator walkers
• Canes
• Crutches
• Bath seats
• Bath transfer benches
• Commodes
• Versa frames
• Raised toilet seats
• Wheeled commodes
• Wheeled walkers
• Tub grab bars

Equipment Pickup and Returns: Home service delivery is available in the GTA for a small fee.
