September 20, 2017 - A strong earthquake struck central Mexico on September 19th at approximately 1:15pm local time 12 kilometers southeast of Axochiapan in the state of Morelos. Preliminary reports indicate several buildings in Mexico City and Puebla have suffered serious damage, collapsed bridges and damage to basic infrastructure.
