On Saturday, September 2, the Rouge sur Blanc event was held at the Grévin Museum in Montreal. The 2nd annual fundraising event of the Red Cross Young Leaders raised $28,265 for the Canadian Red Cross.

The evening, which honoured four regions where the Red Cross is active―Northern Quebec, Haiti, the Philippines, and Zambia―confirmed young people’s interest in the organization’s humanitarian action. In addition to the many wax personalities in the Museum ballroom, nearly 200 young professionals attended the event.

Thanks to the generous sponsors (Scotiabank, Stikeman Elliott, and Valeant) and numerous partners, guests were treated to a lovely evening. Delicious hors d’oeuvres inspired by the four regions were provided by catering company Miss Prêt-à-Manger amid décor supplied by Bravo Location.

All funds raised will be donated to the general fund of the Red Cross to help the organization respond to people affected by a disaster when they need it the most: in an emergency.
