The Red Cross is proud and grateful to announce that its 2013 gala event raised a total of $900,000, which will go towards emergency assistance for the people of Quebec. The result was announced yesterday by Ms. Michèle Dionne, Honorary Chair of the gala event and Red Cross volunteer, before a gathering of guests made up of senior officers and representatives from the business community.

Roughriders partner with the Red Cross to tackle bullying

Today the Canadian Red Cross mourns the loss of Kroum Pindoff, founder of Music World Limited and Pindoff Record Sales Limited; a compassionate humanitarian and long-time supporter of the work of the Canadian Red Cross around the world. Mr. Pindoff died peacefully at home in his sleep on January 16 at the age of 97.
