Regina, December 4, 2013 – The Canadian Red Cross is reminding people that the deadline to purchase Red Cross Campaign for Kids Raffle tickets is December 18 at midnight. Tickets can be purchased at redcross.ca/campaignforkids.

“Time is running out for a chance to win over $50,000 in cash just before the holidays,” said Monika Zmetana, provincial gaming coordinator for the Red Cross in Saskatchewan. “Plus, every $20 ticket sold means that two students in Saskatchewan can learn how to prevent and respond to bullying.”

This year’s prize package includes a $25,000 grand prize, a $5,000 bonus draw, three new Holiday Cheer draws of $4,000 each, and a 50/50 jackpot that’s now over $50,000.

“Last year, the Red Cross reached over 38,000 children and adults in Saskatchewan with violence, bullying and abuse prevention education, so the Campaign for Kids Raffle goes a long way toward keeping kids safe,” said Zmetana.

This is the 20th anniversary of the Campaign for Kids Raffle, and to celebrate, the Red Cross has special pricing for the 50/50 draw. People can get 20 tickets for only $20.

All draws will be made on Friday, December 20.
