Red Cross searching for next Humanitarian Award recipients

January 21, 2015 -

(Regina, January 21, 2015) The Canadian Red Cross in Saskatchewan is once again asking the public for nominations for the prestigious Young Humanitarian of the Year Award and the Humanitarian of the Year Award. These awards will be presented at the Red Cross Power of Humanity Gala happening in November 2015. 

Canadian Red Cross responding to individuals affected by two apartment fires in Regina

January 09, 2015 - The Canadian Red Cross is prepared to assist families affected by two separate apartment fires that occurred on Friday, Jan. 9, in Regina. A reception centre has been set up at the Quality Inn at 1717 Victoria Avenue.

Red Cross raffle sold out

Tickets for the Red Cross Campaign for Kids Raffle are so popular this year that they sold out a month and a half early. Proceeds from the raffle stay in Saskatchewan to fund the Red Cross bullying prevention program.
