Email is one of the ways the Canadian Red Cross communicates with the people who have been affected by disasters. If you have registered with the Red Cross and have yet to receive an email from us, you may be receiving a phone call or an email at a later date.
For those of you who received an email last night, the deadline to confirm your information is tonight at 11:59 p.m. (MST). Once you have completed the confirmation you are not required to do so again. Not receiving this email or not confirming your information by the deadline will not disqualify you from receiving Canadian Red Cross assistance for the Alberta Fires response in the future.
We are there to not only to support immediate emergency assistance, but to also help the people and communities affected by this disaster as they rebuild and recover in the weeks, months and years ahead.
