Help the Canadian Red Cross choose their Humanitarians of the Year

The Canadian Red Cross in Saskatchewan is seeking nominations from the public for its Young Humanitarian Award and the Humanitarian Award. These awards will be presented at the Red Cross Power of Humanity Gala in October 2017 in Regina.
 
The awards are presented to two individuals in Saskatchewan who have demonstrated the spirit of humanity in a local, national or international capacity by:
  • Promoting mutual understanding, friendship, cooperation and lasting peace among all peoples
  • Contributing to the alleviation of human suffering, protection of life, or the promotion of health
  • Educating the public on the meaning and importance of humanity and human dignity
  • Promoting respect for human beings
