Cindy Fuchs

Vice-President, Saskatchewan

A die-hard Rider fan and prairie girl to the bone, Cindy Fuchs has passionately served the Canadian Red Cross for just over 30 years and is the Vice-President of the Red Cross in Saskatchewan.

Cindy’s passion for the Red Cross has resulted in national and international recognition for her work, which has ranged from being a Water Safety Instructor to leading successful programs in the areas of water safety, disaster management, and violence, bullying and abuse prevention. A natural fundraiser, Cindy has acquired and cultivated several corporate partnerships in Saskatchewan and Western Canada.

An avid volunteer, Cindy has served on many Boards, including the Human Resources Voluntary Sector Committee, Breast Cancer Action Saskatchewan, and the Regina and District Chamber of Commerce, along with a host of additional community volunteer activities.

Cindy resides in Behune, Sask., where she raised three children and can often be found helping out on the family farm during harvest, operating a combine.
